1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the Swap2Run marketplace platform, operated by Swap2Run UG (haftungsbeschränkt). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Swap2Run provides a peer-to-peer platform for buying, selling, and swapping race event tickets. We act as an intermediary and escrow agent only — we are not a party to the ticket transaction between buyer and seller.

3. Registration

You must register with a valid email address and provide accurate information. You are solely responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Ticket Listings

Sellers confirm that they have the legal right to transfer any ticket they list. Fraudulent or misrepresented listings will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

5. Payments & Escrow

All payments are processed by Stripe. Funds are held in escrow until our team verifies the ticket transfer — at that point they are released to the seller. A platform fee of 5% of the transaction value is charged to cover operating costs.

6. Refund Policy

Buyers receive a full refund if the ticket cannot be verified or if the seller fails to complete the transfer within the agreed timeframe. Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

7. Prohibited Conduct

To protect both parties, users may not share personal contact information — such as email addresses or phone numbers — through the in-app chat. Violations result in a temporary messaging suspension. Repeated violations lead to permanent account termination.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Swap2Run UG.
